So based on the 21 million + youtube views I'm guessing everyone but me has heard this song already. I'm having another rough go deciding if I like the song or if I am just listening to it over and over again because it reminds me of someone I miss. In either case, I will say it is one of the few songs that has warm fuzzy feeling potential, which I think is pretty uncommon in music in general these days, and even more so in music I find myself listening to.

Holy shit, that sounds like The Postal Service. I thought it was when I first heard it on the radio. I like it, I prefer the subject matter over most others and I think the delivery lends itself to the most amount of people hearing it. Which can lead to much of this

man this song is about when u were a kid and always caught fireflies in a jar and wondered why the earth spinned so slowly

But for every 100 of those there's 1 who relates to it in a "Waking Sleeper" kind of way. Those are good numbers.

P.S.- Yes, I look for interpretations along these lines in every song and hold dear the ones that "work". The fuzzy feeling thing, I really think whatever we're looking for feels like that sounds. No lowered expectations.
